MME launches with special issue honoring Prof DW Fuerstenau

ABSTRACT:

This month, Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (MME) is launching with a special issue on mineral and metallurgical processing in honor of the 90th birthday of Prof. Emeritus Douglas W. Fuerstenau. Headed by a special review article by Prof. Fuerstenau, this special issue contains 22 papers by the top experts in the field.

MME is a continuation of the journal that SME has been publishing since 1984, Minerals & Metallurgical Processing (MMP), with the scope widened to provide a balanced insight into the fields of mining, mineral/metallurgical processing and geology, and an avenue for cross-linkings among these fields. It is published in partnership with Springer Nature, one of the world’s leading global research, educational and professional publishers.
